Conclusion
The cooling year of 1989 had many important events that all contributed to the termination of the Cold War in 1991. It brought upon many protests and disagreements as the Cold War was coming to an end and nations were developing and becoming independent. The fall of the Berlin Wall was definitely one of the major contributors of this cooling year. The fall of the wall was a little taste of freedom for all of the people and issues involved in the Cold War and almost everything depicted in the year of 1989. Although this year was not the initial year for the end of this war, it was the start to many new and major events that effected the rest of the Cold War. The year of 1989 was a major cooling year in the depths of the Cold War.
